Routine service is the cheapest work a car ever needs, and the easiest to put off when it means giving up a morning at a shop. We bring the oil change, the spark plugs or the tune-up to wherever the car is parked.
It is also when small problems get caught early. While the hood is up, anything that looks worn or is leaking gets pointed out, so it can be dealt with before it leaves you stranded.
